Obama(Osama)

Despite on what side of the political party adults stood on , during the elections of 2008, our future President would be the first for its own kind. Illinois State Senator, Barack Obama and Arizona State Senator, John McCain were battling it out to be America's next greatest leader.In the hands of trusted adults laid the future for our country. We would either have our first African American President, or the oldest man to hold the position as President.Obama won , not only his 1st term ,but his 2nd term as well.

Many Americans weren't happy .They went out of there way and dedicated themselves to attack Obama's personal life, rather than his political career and the choices being made for our country.

As we all know from our basic knowledge in government, one of the requirements to be The President of the United States is that you must be an American citizen. Based on his family roots, people, also known as the "Birthers", were claiming that Obama's birth certificate was a fake and he was born in the African country of Kenya. The Birthers were taking in consideration that Obama's last name sounded a lot like Osama, or that his middle name is Hussein. All these middle eastern orgins created talk among fellow Americans. If the attack wasn't that he was not born in America , it was that he had Middle Eastern connections, and that wasn't necessarily something to brag about in the USA.

Religions were also attacking our President. They were calling him the Anti-Christ , that would cause the end of our world. Groups of people were finding ways to tie his name with Blasphemy , which meant some type of curse.American citizens were worried about their lives , because the leader of the country they lived in would end their lives. There have been quotes from the bible being tied to the actions of Obama.

In theory if President Obama would not have been targeted personally , a lot of changes would have been made possible, or as well as being able to carry out former President George W. Bush. A big problem right now is the controversy with Obama Care, even though it has passed through. People assume just because it was Obama's idea or the medical plan is named after him , it's stupid. I'm pretty sure people aren't reading the fine print on the new policy, and taking time to judge it for what it really is. This new policy could change the world if it really was judged for what it was made to do and help out. Also people think that Obama is to blame for sending the most troops out to Middle East when in fact it was former President George W. Bush who deployed the most troops. Americans don't care to think the what behind his reasoning only the fact that he is taking a certain action.
